 Building a 'zero carbon home' is not out of reach, the core lies in the scientific combination of 'photovoltaic power generation+energy storage system'. This combination punch can not only meet daily electricity needs, but also achieve "spontaneous self use, surplus electricity storage, and emergency backup" through technological optimization, shifting household electricity from "relying on the power grid" to "autonomous and controllable".

1、 Analysis of System Core Components

Photovoltaic power generation system:

Choose high-efficiency monocrystalline modules (with an efficiency of over 22%) and design capacity based on household electricity demand. Taking a family of five as an example, the daily electricity consumption is 20 kWh, requiring the installation of 8-10 kW photovoltaic systems, with an average annual power generation of about 12000 kWh, covering 80% of electricity demand.

Energy storage system:

If the daily electricity consumption is 20 kWh, coupled with a 60 kWh battery, it can meet the basic electricity needs in extreme weather conditions (such as lighting, refrigerators, routers, etc.).

Cooperate with BMS battery management system to monitor the power level in real time and intelligently allocate it, avoiding overcharging and overdischarging.
2、 Working principle and advantages

Daytime mode: Photovoltaic priority power supply, surplus electricity stored in batteries (with an energy storage rate of 95%), and excess electricity sold online at a rate of 0.5 yuan/kWh.

Night/cloudy mode: The battery is discharged for power supply, and the insufficient part is supplemented by the power grid (which can be combined with peak and valley electricity prices, and charging during off peak periods is more cost-effective).

Emergency mode: In the event of a power outage, the energy storage system automatically switches to off grid power supply, ensuring that critical loads such as medical equipment and lighting can be powered for more than 12 hours.
3、 Configuration suggestions and costs

Typical solution: 10 kW photovoltaic+30 kWh energy storage, with an investment of about 80000 to 100000 yuan, plus local subsidies (such as Guangdong distributed photovoltaic with a maximum subsidy of 3 million yuan), with a cost recovery of 7-10 years and a net income of over 150000 yuan within a 25 year cycle.

Policy dividend: Although there will be no central subsidy by 2025, many regions will provide additional support for "integrated solar and energy storage" projects. For example, Zhejiang will subsidize energy storage systems by 0.3 yuan/watt hour, and grid connection before April 30th will enjoy full grid electricity prices.
4、 Maintenance and Precautions

Regularly clean the photovoltaic panels (once every quarter, increasing efficiency by 5-8%) and check the tightness of the bracket screws.

Real time monitoring of power generation, energy storage, and consumption data through a mobile app, and timely adjustment of load strategies (such as air conditioning off peak operation).

From an environmental perspective, a 10 kW "solar energy storage" system can reduce carbon emissions by 10 tons per year, which is equivalent to planting 500 trees; From an economic perspective, monthly electricity bills can be reduced to below 50 yuan, truly achieving "saving money on electricity consumption, peace of mind in electricity storage, and tangible carbon reduction". The cultivation of a zero carbon family is essentially a technology investment that takes into account long-term benefits - using today's scientific configuration to exchange for future cleanliness and ease.
